My life has been a journey in delight of others. I was raised in Naperville, Illinois, the oldest of nine children, belonging to a large extended family of community-builders. My husband and I have been married 34 years and raised four lovely daughters in IL. I delighted in participating with my youngest daughter at award-winning Hobson Cooperative Preschool and served on the board as well. My love of the early years blossomed there and I started back to school to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and a minor in Psychology in 1996. We moved to the Beautiful Northwest in 1997 and I was hired as the director/instructor at Finn Hill Cooperative in Kenmore where relationships blossomed and I enjoyed the dynamics of working with parents and their children. Crystal Springs hired me in 2000 and I have thoroughly delighted in the families here throughout the years. I am passionate about play-based, developmentally appropriate education and truly strive to support families during the early formative years. I am a new grandmother and the delight continues on with another generation.
