Membership Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in the classroom one day per week or find a substitute from your class (does not apply to Toddler class).
- Attend monthly Parent Seminars (usually the 3rd Thursday evening of the month) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (Toddler Class requirement is 3 seminars).
- Participate in daily routine cleaning on your scheduled work day, one weekend cleaning of the school (or find a substitute), one hour at the beginning-of-the-school-year cleaning and one hour at the end-of-the-year school cleaning/inventory.
- Serve on one standing committee in the co-op or serve on the Executive Board. One would expect to spend an average of 4 hours per month depending on the standing committee on which one serves. Some committees require less time and others require more.
- Provide snacks for the children on a rotating basis.
- For Pre-K and Multi-Age classes only: Prepare an activity on a rotating basis.
- Participate in and support any fundraising efforts as determined by the Fundraising Committee. Commit 1-2 hours per year to fundraising.
- Have a valid driver's license and carry liability insurance on any vehicle used for transporting preschool children.
- Pay tuition the first scheduled working day of each month, September-May. Provide two weeks notice of intent to withdraw by completing a Membership Withdrawal Form and obtaining the signature of the Director as validation.
