Crystal Springs Co-op Preschool offers unique parent education opportunities not commonly found at other preschools. Twice a month parents participate in Parent education sessions. Here you will get a chance to discuss age relevant parenting issues, share with or listen to the other parents in your group, and gather tools to put into your parenting toolbox. Then once a month in the evening parents attend a parenting seminar with various experts on parenting. Currently we are exploring The Greatness Chair by Kathleen Friend. It is about finding the greatness in our children and focusing on the positive things that they do and less on the negative.
Crystal Springs not only wants to provide education opportunities for your children to grow, but also support and learning for the parents of our children. We hope everyone who attends Crystal Springs will find new ideas for how to effectively communicate with their children.
